I don't know how people do it - running without an iPod. I must have tunes to motivate me to not turn right around and run my arse home. In fact, I have gotten ready for a workout and right before I get going I realize my iPod is dead - I might as well have two broken ankles b/c my butt is only going to the couch.
That being said - what is the one tune that gets you pumped? That song that comes on that makes your stride longer, your heartbeat increase and makes your workout that much better?
For me there are two songs right now that make me go from jiggly to jiggy - "Stronger" by Kanye West (how can you not get pumped by "what don't kill me can only make me stronger") and an old rap song by Young MC "Bust a Move".
ps - I am secretly stealing your ideas to help fill my iPod with running songs - 13 miles is a lot of songs. :)

My current favorite is "Feedback" - the new Janet Jackson single. I also like:
"Unbroken" - Jessica Sierra
"Just Fine" and "Work That" - Mary J. Blige
"Do It Well" - Jennifer Lopez
I'll think of others, but those come to mind right now.
I love Stronger. But I also like Fighter & Ain't No Other Man by Christian Aguilera. I am also into Low by Flo Rida and T-Pain. And for a throwback-- Eye of the Tiger and Hungry Like the Wolf
I have a couple of Kanye West songs as well, "Good Life" and "Jesus Walks" from the Jarhead soundtrak...I love the Linkin Park/Jay-Z mix of "Numb/Encore"...and I recently downloaded "Ladies and Gentlemen" from Saliva, it gets me going pretty good!
